Strategic Planning

Our approach to strategic planning is designed to advance clarity, efficacy, trust, and hope to create a clear articulation of the organization’s near-term and long-term goals, and a prioritized set of strategies and metrics for getting there that everyone from students to policymakers is enthusiastic about.

Read about how we helped Bellevue School District with their strategic planning here.

Assessment & Accountability

Our current system of tests and school scores doesn’t always provide enough of the right kind of information at the right time to help students. We help districts and SEAs explore new ways to look beyond a test score and get a better sense of the whole student. Real accountability comes when communities can have honest conversations about what is working and what is not.

Leadership Development

C!E supports teacher, building, district, and school leaders through coursework and mentorship as they learn to use inclusive design habits to transform learning environments and education systems. Moreover, we bring the habits into shared leadership structures within each of our learning communities.

Custom Policy Solutions

C!E works with partners to create policy that is right for each situation. There are a number of different dimensions of policy to be considered, and rarely is the solution an exact replica of what worked somewhere else.

Reciprocal Impact Evaluation

Measurement matters. We utilize a tool called SenseMaker to measure the efficacy of the habits of inclusive design, and create research practice partnerships when appropriate to understand how the work is impacting student outcomes and public trust in education.

Inclusive design helps leaders engage more authentically, solidifying trust, reducing criticism, and increasing the likelihood that what gets planned gets done.

Inclusive Design

C!E works with research partners and leverages distributed ethnography tools like SenseMaker to measure the impact of the habits of inclusive design.

Habits Research

C!E helps education leaders hone the essential skills of inclusivity, empathic listening, co-creative facilitation, and reciprocal decision making as we enter a new paradigm of relationship economy.

Leadership Coaching

From formal communities of practice to informal learning groups, C!E brings together the right people to make the most immediate and ongoing impact.

Learning Community Stewardship

C!E employs ethical, democratized storytelling—drawing stories from those that experienced them—to tell help chronicle the important work we and our partners are doing in the name of a more equitable and impactful education system...

Storytelling

...and those stories need to be communicated—and C!E can help you do that—to your school boards, your policymakers, your parents and students, and your community.
